Live sound & Mobile recording course
Learn the In’s & Out’s of Live Sound and how to apply fundamentals of audio in the Live Event space with this 12-week course.
In this first part of the course, we will work exclusively inside the controlled acoustic environment of the studio while focusing on foundational knowledge and concepts of Live Sound engineering. Class duration will be 4 hours once a week.
Beginning on the 5th week, our learning will take place outside of the studio in a live space where we will begin to experiment and apply the knowledge gained during Level 1. Class duration will be 5 hours once a week.
This final level of the course will test your knowledge from Level 1 and 2, and will involve assessment of your ability to execute proper setup and operation of equipment, as well as the sound check process, and mixing techniques for both monitors and front of house (FOH). Class duration will be 5 hours once a week.
